Instructions for viewing slides at sepsis.com:
Please note there are two sets of instructions: one set for computers running
Windows 2000, and one set for computers running Windows 95 or 98. These
instructions may be performed at any time prior to re-visiting Sepsis.com and
only need to be completed once.
Upon completion of these instructions, a dialogue box should appear the next
time you request to download either a slide kit or speaker notes. This dialogue
box will ask whether you wish to view the files or download them to your
computer. Important! You must already have Microsoft PowerPoint loaded onto your
computer in order to download the slide kits.
Windows 2000
For slide kits:
1. Click on the "Start" button at the bottom left hand of the
screen
2. Select "Programs"
3. Select "Accessories"
4. Select "Windows Explorer"
5. Click on "Tools" in the Toolbar
6. Select "Folder Options"
7. Click on the "File Types" tab
8. Select "Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation" from the displayed
list
9. Click on the "Advanced" button
10. Click on the box by "Confirm open after download". There should
now be a check mark in the box.
11. Click the "OK" button.
For lecture notes:
1. Click on the "Start" button at the bottom left hand of the
screen
2. Select "Programs"
3. Select "Accessories"

5. Click on "Tools" in the Toolbar

7. Click on the "File Types" tab
8. Select "Microsoft Word Document" from the displayed list
