Your "Pals" will answer your questions about consulting with a specialist, preparing for medical treatment, and recuperation, and will assist you with practical answers to your concerns about:
Where can I find references for a particular surgeon?
How soon will I be able to eat following surgery?
Should I travel for surgery with a specialist, or have surgery at my local community hospital near my family?
Where can I obtain health insurance coverage?
Plus, "tips" for ...
returning to work following treatment,
resuming an active lifestyle,
affects on your personal and social life,
diet and nutrition needs,
living with an ostomy,
and a myriad of other questions you may have!
Your questions and concerns will be addressed personally, without exposing you to cyberspace message boards or "chat rooms!"
“Pals” communicate directly with each other via email, telephone calls, SKYPE or personal visits!
