Today's Question of the Day comes from Lynda in the USA who asks:

My local oncologist is a good man, however he loses his patience with me if I ask questions or seem worried! During recent months, my CEA level is gradually increasing, therefore I am feeling uneasy. What should I do?”

Answer: “If your local physician does not take the time to answer your questions in a kindly manner, perhaps it is time to find another doctor; you have a right to ask questions.

You are the patient/consumer and your healthcare provider has a duty to provide you with answers to the best of his or her ability, or to refer you to someone else who can.
